Once again, the Shanksville Duathlon kicked off my first race that involved cycling for 2005. The race started at Stonycreek High School and the run was a 4 mile out and back course. I paced the run with another guy who went out pretty hard. I actually ended up biking 19 miles on the bike course due to me missing the turn around. The course was unmarked and people that knew the course already had an advantage....so I actually lost the lead and got 2nd overall. It was no big deal though since the race was just a little community run, but apparently a big deal for others...

Jennifer also did the race. She finished in 1 hr 35 minutes.
