So today marked my first ever race in the elite division. I didn't place top 3 overall, but I already knew that was the case coming in. Basically I wanted to see if I could hang with the big boys and basically try not to come in last. There were about 25-30 guys who went off with me in the elite swim wave. My goal was to not be #30. And now for the "un-official" results. They aren't posted yet on the web, but here is what I remember from the posting hung up at the race.

3rd Overall Elite Amateur age 25-29
9th place Overall Elite Amateur
32nd place overall - (very deep pro field...Chris Lieto was there, and so was Matty Reed)
Finish time of 2:06:53
Average Speed on bike - 23.6 mph
Pace on Run (6:43 / mile)....only disappointment of the day....details to come in the race report!
