Lactate running Test

Last night was my first test workout with coach. He had me run a mile warm up on the treadmill and then a 30 minute hard tempo run at a pace where I can handle but also sustain. The last 20 minutes determines my threshold pace which I kept at a heart rate average of 182. I was running 6:00 minute miles (10 mph) which requires my turnover to be faster than normal since the treadmill was flyin.

I will be interested to see how my times improve vs. my heart rate at this pace in the future.

After my hard run I swam for 30 minutes and called it a night.

Today I ran an easy 45 minutes and currently I'm in Chicago waiting for a flight home.
